I've seen a lot of these being sold used in my country, but i can't find any comparison or price or anything useful at google.. So are they some crappy old i5 version or something?

the i5 has hyperthreading so it will run 4 threads, it is also 2 years newer

the above link has a bunch of info on a comparison. it seems to be significantly better.

i do not think that i5 is worth that much in american money but i so not know how significant that is for you and also you need to know that your motherboard will support that i5

6.3 to 6.9... Not much difference. And I would have to buy a new motherboard for socket, and DDR3 RAM, since i now have DDR2, so I don't think its worth the upgrade. I might as well save my money and buy a real i5.
Thanks for the help :)
