More about wanted build based gpu cpu run bf4 man servers
  1. I have no idea with Battlefield 4 specifically, but I do know that the FX-8350 is a great CPU for BF4 and I imagine it will have no issues.

The R9 270X is excellent at 1080p and should have no issues, again. The R9 280 is a big step up, though, and it usually can be found for about $200, so i'd look around.

It's not a lot, but really, if you look at the specs of the card, it is a lot more powerful of a card and it is really a better investment. It is a lot like the GTX 760 vs 770.

Sometimes the R9 280s have sales that make them just like 20-30 dollars more than an r9 270X. What country are you in and what is the price difference?

I can play ultra (2msaa) with great fps, although the visual difference between medium and ultra is not that big :D
  6. A 280 (no x) should be enough for BF4, especially if you can get it for around 200$.
You can use the saved money to get yourself a nice ssd, this one is cheap: http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148820 (newegg doesn't want to show me the us site)
