Mobo: Msi h97 Gaming 3 ( do u think I can get a cheaper alternative? )

Ram: vengeance pro (2x4gb) 1600mhz

Ssd: Crucial mx 100 256 gb

Hdd: WD 1tb Sata 3 (blue)

Gpu: Gigabyte r9 290 Oc -4gb (pls give me some review about this gpu or should I go for gtx 780? )

PSU:Seasonic g-650 80+ gold/mod

Casing: trying to decide between Crosair Graphite 230T or cm storm enforcer

How would you rate this specs

Sounds like you got a pretty good setup. The 780 would be a little more powerful than r9 290 but more expensive as well. They are both pretty good cards, either one would be very good for gaming.

But is the gigabyte version of r9 290 good? Or is there a better alternative. I can't find any review that's why I'm not sure

I can tell you that R9 290 is better than GTX 780, i can talk to my friend,he has R9 290X (little difference),but the summary of what he told me is that it is great GPU costs less than GTX 780 and worth it. New drivers helped it even more.

GTX 780 is way overpriced compared to R9 290 (x or non x,difference is small) and the real gain in performance is really small. And i have a friend who has R9 290x is 2-way crossfire and he loves them. New drivers are excellent.
