Hey guys! First off thank you for taking the time to look at my problem and help me out. I've recently assembled my first gaming computer, and I'm having some issues with the Crossfire set up. When I run the computer with crossfire disabled or with only one video card installed it runs fine, for the most part. On a single card I get no screen tearing or flickering, however when I look at fences or poles/pipes that repeat in battlefield 4 they'll break up and briefly overlap each other. If I take any window such as fire fox or control panel and move it around my computer screen, the edges break up pretty violently. The screen tearing/flickering with both cards installed only takes place when something demanding is happening, such as a benchmark or BF4. As of recently while I'm browsing the web hoping onto different sites the computer will freeze for a minute or so. I can move the mouse around and what not, but can't select or do anything with it.

A friend of mine came over yesterday and set my monitor on 59Hz instead of 60Hz and this dramatically improved my problem. I will however still get minor screen tearing and lag in BF4 although I'm getting around 60-80 FPS.He took a shot in the dark with that idea and we have no idea why it improved it.

I've tested each video card individually on both PCI slots and they're running fine.
My GPU temps stay around 72 degrees Celsius on max load. So onto the good stuff, the hardware.

Hardware I'm running:

2x Saphire R9 270X 2GB Vapor-X Video Card in CrossFireX
Corsair Vengrance 16GB DDR 1600 Memory
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P Motherboard (x16 top slot x4 bottom slot. did not notice this before purchase)
AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5 GHz
Cosair Graphite 230T Grey on Black Mid Tower Case
EVGA SuperNova 750 80 Plus Bronze PSU
3 TB Seagate Barracuda
128GB smasung 840 pro SSD
3x Kingwin 120MM 950 RPM Red LED Case Fan Case already had three fans (2 intake, 1 outtake), but I added 3 more (1 intake, 2 outake) to balance out the airflow)
G710+ logitech keyboard
G500 logitech mouse
Dell S2440L Monitor <--- one of my parts in suspect.

Here are some screen shots of both GPU's from GPU-Z:

I've been troubleshooting for a week and have no idea whats going on.

** Update! **

I set my memory clock settings in the CCC to 900Mhz and scrren tearing/flickering seems to have gone away.
However I get horrible fps in DayZ now and a slight stutter in BF4 now. I think it may be that my mother board has the whole x16 and x4 slot thing going on. So I think the faster card may be waiting for the slower card to catch up. I'm currently looking for a new motherboard that may fit my FX6300.

I use Fan Speed to check my temps from time to time, and I noticed that it wont always read a GPU temp on my second card.
