I am putting parts together for my first build, and I don't know which one to pick. I was going to go for the asrock because great reviews and it is a relatively inexpensive z97 chipset board to go with my i5 4690k. The only reason I am mentioning the G1 Sniper is because it's green. I am going to use green LED's and the sniper works perfectly with it. Since it is a z87 chipset, would I need a bios upgrade to make it work with my 4690k? Should I go with the sniper just for aethetics or will I be losing too much if i do and just get the extreme4?
But there should be some vids on youtube, but quite hard for a first timer
