dell xps cpu addition

There is no such thing as adding an extra CPU to any laptops. The only thing you can do to a laptop is upgrade your storage from a HDD (hard drive) to and SSD (solid state drive), as well as upgrade your RAM (memory modules).

There have been some laptops where you can physically upgrade the processor, but mostly the (CPU) processors are soldered to the laptops' motherboard.

I have personally upgraded a CPU on a gaming laptop I used to have, but I never heard of a second CPU slot. If you could provide a link to this article I would be interested to read it.

I know of some server style "laptops" that have two physical processors, but those beasts cost an arm-n-a-leg, and not in the Dell XPS category of laptops - basically a mobile desktop, for the price of a server/workstation.
