no, corsair don't do very good psu's, they are quite risky, so get a psu from seasonic, evga or xfx, they're way more reliable and yeah, a 550W would be better too
hi again spi ajay....first of all its wrong to say corsair dont have good psu the cx series of corsair have some issues but i have heard the vs series is much better in quality than the cx series .........the rm/hx/ax/tx series of corsair psu are excellent ....

Actually, some of Corsair's PSU (specifically in the AX line) are/have been made by SeaSonic. Please read Tom's recent article on PSUs: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/power-supply-psu-brands,3762.html.

Go for the asus, not only is it a little bit better, but it has a good cooler also to keep the temperatures down, not as good as the sapphire cooler imo but it's a better card so you can't argue with rthat
go with the r9 280and dont oc anything and u are good to go you dont have to worry about the performance you shall have no problem with it...............and yes if u overclock too much then extreme oc can damage the product and also there is not much increase in fps there...
in your case with r9 270x a bit of overclocking wont hurt but keep it minimal as vs corsair is just an entry level psu not suitable for stressful operations! r9 280 would be the better gpu but no room for any overclocking!

no no asus r9 280x have some manufacturing defects 2 of my friends had to replace them after getting black screen while gaming plus there are many other people whom i have read complaining about this so there is some issues with the 280 and 280x models in asus....

I thought black screens were common with the r9 series no matter of what manufacturer? Because I've seen people post about sapphire r9 290x black screens also
people get black screen in gtx 760, 770, 780 its not about the r9 but asus has some problems i am not telling that asus is bad i hope they solve this problem..

Honestly, I've never seen anyone post about black screens on those cards, but maybe that's just me How would one solve a problem like that? Wouldn't that be down to the chipset itself?
well i have seen a lot of issues with gtx 760 in special with blackscreen, shuttering freezing etc.....the best way to solve a problem like that is to rma the product..

yeah but, what I'm saying is, surely the screen blackouts are down to the chipset itself, the aftermarket just add coolers and factory overclock it? And I've not seen any problems regarding those issues on 780 or 780 ti's :/

i read article which says overclocking helps for those who cant buy high end pc's and its for those to remind them its time to buy new pc . thats how overclcokgin comes in handy , correct ?
last question so asus r9280 wont heat up my pc when i dont overclock ?
also the setup r9 280 asus dcii top with fx6300 will it last longer than r9 270x sapphire vaporx with fx6300 right ?
yes if u are talking about future proofing then yes the r9 280 will be more future proof than the 270x..
what is this ?
people get black screen in gtx 760, 770, 780 its not about the r9 but asus has some problems i am not telling that asus is bad i hope they solve this problem..
should i go ahead with asus r9 280 or not loll
is it like i am gong to buy some damaged r9280 of asus loll
only if u are unlucky sorry to confuse u like this but i was just trying to say that asus has some defects with the r9 280 x series batch its not that every r9 280 or 280x is bad.......but you always have the option to use your warranty in that case .....

so finally black screen or not , i should go ahead with r9 280 asus rather than vaporx r9 270x , correct ?
