Google chrome cannot read or write to its directory

I get this error always when i open google chrome
( google chrome cannot read or write to its directory)
can anyone help?

1)Go to All programs-->Google chrome-->Chrome
2)Right click on it and select properties
3)Click on Compatibility tab
4)Check(mark) to Run this program as Administrator
5)click Apply and ok.

What if even though you're receiving this message, yet you don't have Chrome installed?
