I wouldn't use a 500w power supply with that card, no. http://www.anandtech.com/show/7406/the-sapphire-r9-280x...
Preferably get a 600-650w power supply from a good brand like your seasonic.

Was thinking about getting http://www.corsair.com/en/ax860-atx-power-supply-860-wa... in the fututre but right now I don't have the budget and I got a good deal on the card so I bought it. Jus wanted to know if I can run it now with this PSU.

Newegg says it requires at least 750w with two 150w 8-pin PCI express power connectors.

It doesn't require 750w, you will be just fine with 600w or 650w . Get something like an HCG-620(M if you want semi-modular) or XFX 650W Bronze or even seasonic M12II (Evo or not)

Found Corsair TX 750W 80+ Bronze for a great deal so I'll take it. Thanks for the answer
