due to black screen problems of r9 280should i buy r9 270x

please help me buy a graphics card . i cant afford r9 280x , i find r9 280 asus dcii top same as the price as r9 270x vapor x. due to black screen problems in r9 280 i am thinking to get r9 270x , do u all think its right decision? even though i am missing 3gb version

If you're just at 1080p, you don't need 3GB.

As for the strength of each card, the R9 270X is still quite good.
I haven't heard of black screen problems in R9 280s though.

The R9 270X is supposed to get 40 fps on ultra settings in Watchdogs, with SMAA, as long as your CPU is quick enough not to hold it back. Very playable.

No video card will last forever, of course. I know of some people who don't replace them for 4+ years and still manage to get good settings, but eventually every video card becomes obsolete. An R9 270X would last less time than an R9 280.

so why not r9 280 asus dcu ii top , when i can get it at same price of r9 270x ?also let me know if i can run r9 280 asus will run on vs550 corsair psu. i have asus m5r97 r2.0 motherboard
