My motherboard is a GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 4.0) so i was wondering if the motherboard would allow the 280x to fit inside the case because of the removable HDD cage. And if not would you recommend a Sapphire R9 280x Dual-X instead? I know that the HIS card won't it inside unless I remove the cage. Thanks in advance for the help!

I am pretty sure that it won't matter too much which card you have as they will be roughly the same size, so to fit them, you will need to remove the hard drive cages. I would suggest getting the sapphire card as it has a better cooler than the HIS one does

That's the part I'm quite iffy about, many people say that sapphire is a more reliable brand but then i look at this thread http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/radeon-r9-280x-third-part... and I think that i should stick with the HIS.
