Just bought a new desktop, already getting way slower, please help?

Yesterday i bought a desktop, windows 8, it was running amazingly fast, everything is so smooth, an multitasking is great, so i downloaded couple of programmes, that i need,( updated my graphics drive / skype / downloaded Synapse for my Razer keyboard ) after that, i download kaspersky internet security, everything was good, and all folders and programmes start so quick, and then i shut down, today i turn on my PC, it takes a short time to boot, almost 1 minute and it's ready to use, good i know, but that's not it, when i sign in the computer, opening files and programmes, and going from windows 8 menu to the desktop, all of them take more time than it used to when i first used it, is my PC starting to break up already? please help i spent a lot on this thing!

Intel core i7 4770k
GTX 770 4GB
16GB ram G.skill
WD Purple 1TB HDD
Liquid cooling (cooler master )for my processor, my desktop is so cold, so this is not the problem :)
using wireless mouse, and Razer DEATH STALKER ULTIMATE keyboard
Asus maximus VII hero motherboard

If you install background programs (such as Drivers, Utilities, Chat programs) you are bound to get a bit of slowdowns. You also could get a virus. Even with an antivirus you are still open for attacks, beacuse the antivirus saves you from about 45% threats out there. Also, background antivirus scans do slow down your work and they use CPU. Check your case, check your vents and check if every part is ok. Check your temperatures and system health, with SpeedFan, Regystry Mechanic etc. If everything is OK, and if you overclocked, put your clocks to default. If you pirated something, then there are changes that you got a virus. Kaspersky is very old and pretty much obsolete. Use NOD32 or AVG. They are alawys getting updates. You could give...
