Is my router dying? Suddenly bad wi-fi connection

Hey, I've had this linksys WRT54G2 router for at least 5 years, and it's been working semi-reliably. It had some weird things, but those were usually fixable after a router reset.

But now it's gone crazy, and I have no idea why. It stays the same no matter what I try. I have 2 PCs using USB adapters, and the problem is the same on both.

I'll let the pingplotter screenshots speak for themselves:
This one is from a computer connecting over wi-fi
This one is from a laptop connecting via a wire plugged into the router, not the modem

It's clearly the wireless network, but I have no idea what the cause could be.

I've tired different channels at 2.4Ghz(only this is supported by the router), but all of them end up looking the same.

I tried finding out if another wi-fi network interferes with mine, but doesn't seem like it.

I checked it with Wi-Fi channel scanner, and only my router is in range, though it appears twice for some reason.

Any help would be great, as I'm completely clueless.

Thanks in advance

I definitely think the router is just starting to die. It's a very common occurrence. I've had about 10 different routers over the past 8 or so years. Hahaha.
Would you like me to pick you out a new good one? All good if not, but if so, what is your budget? :)

Seems like it's really the router dying, no interferences. I've resetted the router now, and everything's back to normal again. My link score after the reset is 100 by the way.

The router appears to be dying indeed. If I happen to buy one, which one should I?(I might just wire everything up instead of messing around with wifi all the time though) I don't want to spend much money on routers at all, so the cheaper, the better. I'm not familiar with today's routers, so any suggestions are welcome :)

I have a TP-Link router which has been in my house and working for 6 years, I have never seen a "Router dying". But if you don't mind throwing your money without any need then you can buy another router instead of finding a simple fix to the one you have.

The ones you listed are way too pricy considering I don't even want to spend money atm, but I might look into them later, when they get older and the price drops, thanks.

In the meantime I wired my PC up, but I'm still looking for suggestions why my router gets crazy at random times.
