Hey guys, I plan to overclock on water, nothing to drastic, just a nice low noise, good cooling solution for a 4790k.

I did some searching around and everyone on any forum I check always says never to buy a bundle, sadly I may have to break this rule as I may have found a good deal and the parts I looked at and checked for reviews all came back with good praise. I will add the link to the purchase I will be making soon, but I would appreciate some good criticism on the purchase.

To clarify, I will be swapping the Rad for the SR1 Black ICE as I read this is a great Rad, and the fans I may swap to SP120s as I have 2 already and a friend may do a swap as he has a white/blue colour scheme (i'm red/Black) the only other thing that was slightly hit and miss was the pump,(750 model) a couple (and I do mean a couple) of reviewers said the pump was faulty, but that they were sent a replacement immediately.

I will be buying the mayhems X1 UV Red as this should never gunk up like aurora in a short time frame. Do I need to add any other chems/silver to the loop or does this include that?

Get the D5 pump and reservoir upgrade, the 750 sucks bad.
Colored tubing would be a better way to go, and lots of people use pure water [I use antifreeze 80/20 mix comes in lots of colors, the system must be built to handle this chemical though]
I did not notice any fittings for this build, I only trust bitspower fittings.
This is my opinion only, but I have been doing this for many years, I have tried all the cheep ways to build water loops, and have always been disappointed with the results, over and over again.

The Build contains these fittings:
6X XSPC G1/4" to 7/16" ID, 5/8" OD Compression Fitting (Black Chrome)
I will most likely upgrade the pump asap, will the 750 be a suitable pump as a temporary solution till I get a D5 photon tube 270?

The 750 pump is part of the reservoir, so to replace the pump both would need to be replace, just trying to save the headache latter.
I have used barbs for many years, and they have issues, but compression fittings are expensive, I spent ten years trading out all of my barbs and getting good fittings for my builds. It can take some time, but if I keep getting a few fittings each time I buy something, eventually I will not need any more.
