Mouse and keyboard not working

Hello, i need really help on my new pc

about 10 mins earlier i installed windows 7 (not activated, activate soon as possible) but the thing is after the pc turn on it show me where do i want to go safe mode, safe mode with networking and so on... Keyboard on that is working good, but after it show me to write the password, i cant use my mouse and keyboard! What do i need to do, the problem apeared after the installed a disk from gigabyte h81m-s1 (drivers)
I5-4440
GTX 750 OC 2GB
vs 450w
8gb ram (2x4)
4 case fans
The case
DVD-ROM
others...
Help what do i need to do? I really want to start using the pc properly

try the usb ports next to or below the ps/2 port

There is 2 usb3 and 2 usb 2.0 on back panel not working while the windows started and asking me for the password and i cant write or do with mouse anything, i am about nervous right now so... you know

I tried reconect the usb keyboard and it isnt working

can you get a keyboard with a ps/2 connector? the back panal ports should be working full time on the usb2 if nothing else ... what keyboard and mouse do you use ??

ok heres what I feel is the deal with this ---- that mouse and keyboard may not be supported under windows with out there drivers so you may just need to find a plain old office type keyboard to get in to windows first then install the drivers or whatever for your stuff

it is supported, when i installed windows the keyboard and mouse worked fine, but when i put the disk in the dvd rom it intsalled the hardware asked me to restart pc, i restarted and then i saw the keyboard and mouse is not working...

ok try to boot safe mode and see if it gets you to desktop on that then remove the drivers you installed for them and just don't use them if it all goes back to working

its always best to keep a standard office type ps/2 keyboard around as a backup for times like this

seeing it worked fine until you added them keyboard and /or mouse drivers they may have corrupted windows in some way and with out a backup keyboard to try you may be getting down to a reinstall of windows to recover [???]

well if you do a reinstall it should do all that just follow the prompts and you can chose how it will install

just like you did at first it should ask about this will erase the disk and then yes to that and it should install it just like if the disk were blank

no you reformat the hard drive and install windows from the usb stick right ????
