Hi all.

I have an Asus 27T1E TV Monitor and I connected my R9 280X via HDMI.
The picture is perfect until I install the GPU drivers! After installing, everything looks blurry.
I put the Overscan at 0% but the picture gets too big for the monitor.
I tried to use a different pixel format and it's the same thing.
I tried to use a custom resolution and nothing.

I have no idea what to do!

Hmmm this sounds like a strange issue. Have you tried using a different cable? A few times I've had corrupted display issues it turned out to be a bad cable. It could also be that the display driver is having a hard time scaling properly to the TV, if it detects it as one. You could also try hooking it up to the DVI or VGA plug, whichever the monitor has to ensure it is or isn't an HDMI issue. Not really sure if this issue is cable related though, sounds more like a driver or display I.D. detection issue to me. Almost as if the driver cannot tell what resolution it should be sending out. If it is it will be related to the AMD display driver, not the individual card meaning that a tweak or fix you find for a 7790 should work for your card too. there is probably a fix somewhere. I'd advise Googling the hell out of it and see what you can find.

This is an old post but since i do have the same monitor (Asus 27T1e) and i do have the same issue when using my Radeon HD 7800, i decided to post something about it.

What i can tell you is that the LAST drivers that do not blur the image, are the AMD Catalyst WHQL 14.4 drivers (dated april 7 2014). Anything after those, will always blur the image.

(hey, we are now in 2016 and through this last 2 years, i've been testing and/or waiting for AMD to come up with some sort of a fix, without any luck - latest AMD drivers: radeon-crimson-16.3.2 - still blurs).

I guess i'll be forced to replace my TV Monitor one of this days...which i really didn't wanted because it's big and decent... OR the AMD video card which is more then enough for me... :-(
