Specs:
cpu: i7-4790k
mobo: asus vii gene
ram: 2 sticks ddr3 1600

QUESTION 1: I currently have only a 380 watt psu, is it too small?

Question 2: I a getting a gtx 770, How big of a power supply do I need?

1) It's fine with the minimal system you have attached to it. It could even handle a GTX 750Ti if you added one.

2) GTX 770 requires 30 Amps on the 12v rail & a 600W PSU minimum

A quality 550W like the ones listed, will be more than enough for a single GTX 770 on your average system. You can go higher wattage if you want headroom for overclocking for peace of mind or if you might add a 2nd card later on (750W/850W).

Most of those low-power PSUs are very iffy. If you post the actual make, we can look better.

Your PSU is definitely not sufficient for adding the GTX 770. If you look at the specifications for the GTX 770, it will list the power needed to run the card. My guess would be that the PSU needs to be somewhere up from 500W to be sufficient.

Its an Antec earthwatts EA380. I'm using it until I get the gpu. I was thinking that maybe it had something to do with the whea_uncorrectable_error I am getting

This is by sentey, it specifically says it supports gtx 770 and it is a lot cheaper than the corsair cx600m that I was originally going to get.

Also, do you think the psu has anything to do with the whea_uncorrectable_error I'm getting? The windows support said that it has something to do with voltage to the cpu or a cpu cache error (not sure what that means). I thought u may know

Outside chance it could be the Haswell C6/C7 power state not agreeing with that Antec PSU as it isn't Haswell compatible. It maybe worth a check in BIOS to see if C6/C7 power saving state are enabled, usually it's disabled by default to cater for older PSU's. Or just wait & try the new PSU to see if it fixes it, as these are Haswell ready PSU's.

I would start a new thread with this matter to get the best heads working on it.

I already started a thread about it. I haven't received much help though. I'll definitely try what you said. Quick question since u are an asus specialist after all, where would I find the c6/c7 setting in the asus bios?

Its been a while now lol, but that was all sorted out, just had to update bios. Ended up getting the cx600m and i returned my gtx 770 to get a 970 ftw. I keep getting driver power state errors now and I need to figure that out. The problems never end do they :/
