Hi all i was wondering is 300 Watt psu enough to run MSI AMD Radeon 6450 1gb DDR3 for some oder game and lower newer games. My other PC spec are Intel Celeron DC E3200 2x 2.4 Ghz, 2GB DD3, Ati HD 2400 PRO, 160 GB HDD and Stabdard DVD/RW. I cant aford PSU upgrade since i live in EU and prices are high in my country so any GPu that is better than mine is fine. I wanted to buy used HD 3870 x2 from a friend but i was told that 300 watt is to low and i can fry my entire PC whic leads me another question. What can happend if i dont have enough power for GPU can i fry something and how serius can be. Hope some1 can help me. Tnx

For now that all i can find for the money i have it just over 10 buks or under 10 euros used so its cheap. But will it work properly on 300 watt psu. Im not going to play high end games i play dota 2 lol and similar, some older and some new games that i was able to play whit Intel HD 2000 on my laptop. Tnx

sorry to say this but why the F*** are you checking cards like Ati Saphire x1600 or HD6450 where you can easly get a gt730 since it has like twice the perfomance of HD65450 (im talking about the nvidia DDR5) , even a g210 is better than the Ati Saphire x1600 , btw since you have low psu look at the nvidia gpu , it is true that they cost more per perfomance but everyone here should agree with me when saying that nvidia has the lowest power usage in gpus (at last in the low end versions)

a gt730 cost like 50$ new (i don't think you can find it used since the new version got released only 2 months ago) anyway better look at the nvidia gpu if you can find one as i said above they use less power , but if you got to decide btw this two , don't think anymore and grab the 6450 (check if it use 300w in in the specs) , but i can't recomand anything below the gt730 DDR5 or the R7 250(this use 400w so it is a no for you if you don't upgrade your gpu)

Cheking manufactuerd minimum power usuage tells u nothing they allways put more than enough so they can protect themselfs, acualy i cheked x1600 and i dont like the speccs, gamedebate says it better then mine HD 2400 but im not so sure all specs are lower. Like i sad i have only few card to chose and i have to w8 5 days before the auction ends and i only need a GPU better than mine for now till doctor give me permision to work then ill buy PSU and GPU adn by that time i can learn thing or two. Tnx

the gt730 works with a 300w psu , hell it works even with my 280w psu and i have like , 4slots of ram full and every usb port is used so i don't think the gpu will ever use more than 50w , btw my gt730 is clocked at 1ghz so it uses like 10-20% more w that the normal one , i dunno any other low end gpu apart the gt730 and the g210 the one i had , the g210 uses like 20% less w than gt730 and its like 8x times slower or more , anyways anything below gt730 sucks if you want to play games at last in medium in 720p at good frame rates

Yeah i gave up on x1600, well i play Dota 2 and LOL right now on low whit my card LOL runs on 60+ fps and dota on 30+ fps. I dont like shooters so modern shooters whit high reqs are out i like playin older game RPG mosty and RTS like Gothic 3 and risen fable and maybe some new games. Im not looking for looks in game i play every game on low settings ne matter how old and min req. The problem is that ne matter what card u guys suggest me i cant find it here, i live in Serbia and used stuff are better seller then new, i apriciate the time u guys spend answering me and helping me, right now im stuck whit only HD 6450 money wise other bids whent to high but i also found this ASUS EN7300TC512/TD/128M, what do u think bout that card power wise and performance and keep in mind im lookeing card better than HD 2400 and this card is 5 buks. Tnx all once again

For the HD 6450 i have to w8 5 days for auction to be over and who knows what price will it be by then i even found HD 2600 xt and game debate stucks when i want to chek it. Tnx
BTW to update it just cheked HD 6450 went to high on price so its of. im stuck now only whit EN7300 or HD 2600 xt

HD 2600 is better but only like 2x better than your gpu , if i was you i would keep my money till i can get a better gpu , and you live in EU i live in EU too and the i got the gt 730 for about 65euros so it is not that high price (even though this gpu is shit compared to a mid range or high range one)
