My PC specs
Gigabyte gtx 660 2 GB
4gb ddr2 ram 800mhz
Asrock n68 GS fx
Phenomx4 9850 2.5 GHz , 125 watt
Corsair CX 430v2 PSU
My mobo only supports upto 95 watt CPUs but I m running 125 watt without
Problems
I created this thread because I m a little concerned about the PSU life here as the PC runs fine but with random gpu drivers crash( not a problem)
Will I be able to handle with this PSU , because this is my new build and I don't have a budget, but maybe later

Solution
the Corsair CX series is there low quality series and the GTX 660 specs say min PSU to be 450w.. A decent 400w-450w PSU would be fine but the CX 430? You are pushing it... Not something i would do.. You might not ever have problems but i wouldn't feel comfortable with the setup.

Have you had some break for you? I have quite a few around in different pcs, never had an issue with any Corsair CX.

OK , then I will buy a new one
What PSU do u suggest between 400 and 450 , that would work for me with 660 with a longer life

What about corsair vs 450 on the budget side
