Hello everyone,
My mum is currently considering getting a new PC and has asked me to consider building her one as it's better value and I built my own a few months ago.
As a preliminary budget, she asked for something up to a maximum of £500. If it is slightly more then it would be okay as price drops should take it below that mark.
Here is one i made up in about 10 minutes:

She would be using it for a mix of gaming and other tasks which is why i thought that a 750ti would be perfect due to its low power requirements too.
Feel free to post any other ideas that are about £500 as that is the maximum she will go for.

Thanks everyone!

The build looks pretty good, but the Z87 motherboard and DDR3-2133 RAM are wasted on a locked CPU. It would be better to get an H97 chipset motherboard and some DDR3-1600 RAM. This is my version of the build.

Okay, thanks for your feedback.
With a look on PCPartpicker, the Z87-G41 is cheaper than the cheapest H97 by about £7; the extra money for Broadwell and Sata express support seems unnecessary considering my mum wouldn't notice the difference (or upgrade for that matter).
I have changed the RAM to some Patriot Viper 3 too, its 1600Mhz and is £5 cheaper than the 2133Mhz G.Skill RAM.
