feedback on my new computer build

Solution
My suggestion:

Get the newest i5 and a z97 motherboard.

Evo vs pro, probably not a huge difference as a boot drive and what not if you're jsut gaming ( you still haven't said its purpose...)

Went with a cheaper gtx 770.

EVGA supernova g2 750w. Gold vs platinum is just efficiency. It's still a good psu.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($238.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($78.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($143.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($84.99 @ Newegg)...
Everything is compatible.

What's the purpose of this computer? I'm assuming gaming.

You could save money on some of these part.

Criticisms:

Where's the motherboard?

I really think you should just go with a ~120gb SSD, it's all you really need. If you need more than that, ~250gb is still fine. 500Gb is pointless. In gaming, the performance gains will be practically nonexistent outside of loading speeds.

RAM, It's a bit pricier not by much so it'll do fine.
