Hello

When I first built my PC, I used the on-board motherboard Sound from my MSI 970A-G43 motherboard. Then everything worked great, but then I found an old soundcard lying around, a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi sound card. I installed it and it worked good, until it started to be "wierd" and for some reason it couldn't play sound. So i removed the card, planning to run motherboard sound from now on, carefully putting back the "HD-Audio" back from the broken sound card onto the motherboard jumper (I think it's called a jumper), just like I did before. I then uninstalled the broken cards drivers, and actually, all sound drivers I ever had, and then went to MSI's official website and installed the latest Realtek sound drivers for my motherboard. I rebooted my PC, plugged my headphones into the front, hoping that the sound would be working perfectly, but no, as you probably guessed. Then later, another driver automatically installed, it was called something like High Defenition Audio Device, and this one was from Microsoft. (I didn't uninstall the one from Realtek.) Still didn't work after that. You see, my computer detects if the headphones are connected, Windows 8.1, (that I use) doesn't say that there is an error or problem or something like that, the driver(s) are working fine, Windows says that I should be abled to hear sound, only, I don't. I tried disabling one of the drivers, vice verca, I tried plugging the headphones cable into the back of computer (directly onto the motherboard) aswell as on the front, I even entered BIOS to see if there was something there but nope. No sound.

It would truly mean the world to me if someone knew how to fix this problem.
Thanks! :)
