Previously I asked for some advice on this forum for a PC, but then I decided to wait a bit and push up my budget. Now I'm here.

i5 4960k
4096MB Sapphire Radeon R9 290X Vapor-X Tri-X OC Aktiv
8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 DIMM CL9 Dual
1000GB Seagate Desktop HDD ST1000DM003 64MB
850 Watt Corsair RM Series Modular 80+ Gold

As for the MOBO I'm considering the Extreme4 from Asrock. Is it good? And should I get Z87 or Z97? What's the difference. Or should I get another motherboard all togehter?

Also for the casing I'm getting the Bitfenix Shinobi Window (I'm getting this dirt cheap).
http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/chassis/shinobi-window/

Will the GPU fit in there?

Should I get a fan for the CPU (I don't think I'll be overclocking in some time)?

And do I really need an SSD since I'm tight on budget right now?

And did I forget anything? And would I need any thing else to put the PC up together (like thermal paste)?

Thanks in advance, first time building a PC.

get Z97 motherboard since they support the CPU wou will be getting without the need for BIOS update. the extreme 4 is a great mobo
the case is okay, especially foir cheap you have better options. but doesnt have a removable drive cage so might be an issue with long graphics cards.
if you will be overclocking then yes, if you wont then no need to get the K version of the CPU.
SSD is nice to have but not a must.

what is your budget, the PSU you got is 850W and a bit on the expensive side, your system would work with a 550W if you wont overclock.

whats your total budget and from which country.

Budget is around 1100 EUR and am from Germany. The difference between the K versions of the CPU is really negligible so it doesn't matter, I may overclock in the future.

And as for the PSU, according to http:// I need a 750 W PSU. Can I really run it on a 550 W PSU?

you can go for a 620 to 650W and you should be on a the safe side with some headroom. most calculator overestimate the watts needed.
