So, I have spent roughly 10 hours so far trying to figure out this problem. (Have done hours and hours of research) When the product was shipped to my home, I uninstalled all of my old drivers, shut down my computer, removed all peripherals and the power plug, and opened my computer and removed my old graphics card, After that I inserted my new GPU made sure it was in correctly in place, plugged everything back in and turned on the power (used a DVI to VGA adapter). My monitor turned on and I see the startup screen though the resolution seemed to be out of place (seemed like it was using only half of my monitor) and I see the options for the boot menu and the bios. I heard 3 beeps during this time, and it finally transitions into a black screen and nothing else happens. What is the problem? ;(
The fan is running on the GPU, and I have tried countless ideas to try and fix this, such as: reinserting the gpu, using a driver sweeper, entering safe mode (can't seem to enter safe mode while the gpu is in), Resetting the CMOS, setting the primary video to PCIe in bios, flashing my bios(my bios is up to date), and inserting my old gpu back in to see if it still functions and it does.
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Motherboard/Model : Acer Aspire M3450-UR30P
Processor : FX-4100
PSU : 300w (though the card doesn't require power from the psu)
RAM : 6GB
