Will this PSU be OK with my system?

OK so in this thread here: http:// I mentioned that my computer crashes and the reply said that it seems to be an issue with the PSU and that even if that isn't the cause of the crash that I should replace it anyway.

So what I want to ask now is whether or not a 500W EVGA PSU will be able to power my PC because I am on a VERY tight budget.

My system specs are as follows:

ASRock N68C-S UCC - Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 850 - CPU
AMD Radeon HD 6870 - GPU
1TB HDD
8GB Corsair XM3 RAM
DVD Drive
CiT 750W - Current Power Supply Unit (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002Q8HFEI/ref=oh_au...)
Windows 7 64bit OS
2 case fans and an upgraded (don't ask me what it is because I don't know) heat sink.

If you click the link to the other thread and don't think there is an issue with my PSU please let me know because I really can't afford to throw money away.

Thanks in advance.

Does sound like a PSU issue , but I'd get the newer 500B:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-500B-BRONZE-Power-Supply/dp/B00DZ6R9GE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407440944&sr=8-1&keywords=evga+500b

A Radeon HD 6870 NEEDS 28amps on the 12v+rail and a 500 watt power supply.

So the 500B WOULD be a good fit it exceeds all the requirements.

Thank you for the recommendation although can I ask what the difference between the two are?

Thank you VERY much for your help I'll update both posts if I remember and the issue resolves itself to let others know if it is a PSU problem and how to resolve it. Again thanks a bunch for your time :)

Just an update, the PSU arrived today and after fitting I checked the temperatures of my components, I can't say whether or not the system will crash again but for some reason my CPU and GPU are idling at around 10 degrees lower than before.
