PC speakers/buzzers in series ?

Is it possible to connect 4 motherboard PC speakers/buzzers in series and would they work as the single one (as default)?

While it may work it would be at a low volume and you run the risk of overloading the buzzer generator, thus damaging your motherbd.

I decided no matter of all to connect all 5 buzzers i have in a series. And what happened ? Nothing, all of them produce low volume sound which at the end sound like one default buzzer.
