I custom-built a tower about a year ago (the total was $1,500, worth) and it came with a Creative Fatal1ty headset. At first I didn't really use it but now I've been wanting to play League of Legends and other games while talking to my friends over Skype, but I can't. The microphone refuses to work. I've tried plugging it into both ports and nothing changes. I've tried it on my brother's computer and it doesn't work either. I've also tried his Razer headset with my computer and that doesn't work. I had a webcam with a built in microphone and that actually works for talking but the sound was horrible so I stopped. I talked to tech support for where I bought the PC from (iBuypower) and they simply told me to update my audio drivers. When I asked how to figure out what my audio drivers are, they closed out the chat on me.
Any suggestions?
