So when I try to connect my second monitor, windows detects it but it doesn't work.
On the second screen it says "No signal detected"
I have tried to connect to both my MOBO and GPU but either worked.
My first monitor works fine which is connected via DVI-D.
For your information I have installed all the latest drivers.
And if this helps my second monitor is a LCD TV, which by the way doesn't support DVI.
I currently do not have any VGA cables.

MOBO: MSI Gaming 5
GPU: Asus Geforce Gtx 780
CPU: i5 4690k
OS: Windows 8.1

Solution
Make sure the tv is set to the correct hdmi input. My tv has 4 hdmi inputs for example. The pc will still detect the tv even if the tv isnt displaying that input.

Make sure the resolution & refresh rate you are using is one that is supported by the tv. You might want to drop down to 720 @ 60hz which should be supported by both to begin with. if that works then try up'ing to 1080.

You also might want to begin with cloning the desktop at first (get it working) before switching to an extended desktop.

I just enabled my second monitor in the Nvidia control panel, if that is what you were talking about.
Still doesn't work...

Works for me. Maybe the HDMI does not work.
