First time poster here, sorry. I'll try to be brief.

Frankly, I know absolutly nothing when it comes to a MotherBoard + CPU combo. I'm basically afraid I'll buy something that conflicts with other parts of my computer. So if something is needed, I'll try my best to answer.

I need a Micro-ATX, preferably Intel, as my current one is of the same brand (Idk if that matters), with a PSI 3.0 for my GPU. And a CPU that'll run games well. I'm not "playing Battlefield on Ultra settings", but my CPU of 5 years is clearly outdated. I also don't plan to overclock.

I'm not too worried about price, but that doesn't mean I want something that's overkill. I'm also buying from Newegg since I find it as a pretty good store.

Any Misc. Info on what I should generally be looking for is also appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Modern I5 on H97 board with 8 GB DDR3 ram http://pcpartpicker.com/p/vb8cbv
Budget would help and what other components you have.

Budget would help and what other components you have.

What comes to mind is:
GeForce GT 620 GPU
4GB Ram
A 520W 24-pin Power supply

And I guess up to a $300 budget, but I don't mind the extra push. If you need other components just ask, I'm not sure what to be looking for as I said.

What is the make model of the power supply?
Got it closer to 300 without much compromise. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/yhrNzy

It's an Apevia ATX-AS520W-BK (According to my Newegg History). I misread the ATX part, but it surprisingly fit well.

Apeiva is about the worst you can get in a PSU looking at your GPU though you will not be stressing it but if you can you can upgrade it to a cheap budget unit I will suggest it, http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx500
