Whats's more important, a graphics card or ram?

So basically I'm gonna start recording Minecraft and my budget is kinda holding me back. Should I go for a good GPU and get 2 GB of ram? Or should I get 4 GB and get a cheaper card?

Im only 14 so I'm on a budget, my parents are giving me exactly a week starting today to get my build together.
IM buying a pc on the 14th.
Do you have any builds that are around $350 that will give amazing Minecraft performance?

By "Amazing Minecraft Performance" I am assuming you are referring to graphics. I would say the graphics card is more important, not to mention recording gameplay takes more graphics power, too, and people like good graphics when watching others' gameplay.

I really want 60-100 while recording, I'm sure it can be done.

Keep all parts except the cpu and gpu cheap. I also want a 250 GB HDD. The reason I want it cheap is that I want to upgrade it in the future, so I can live with cheap parts for now.
My last request it to try not to use an APU.

Dude, $300 forces us to get a micro-atx build, a crap case, an even more insufficient PSU, and the APU will be needed, since buying a separate CPU and GPU would cost too much. You can't expect first-class performance with a third-class budget... sorry. :-(

Exactly. My build will work well, but decent headroom on the budget would help a LOT. :)

Slay, I decided to use an APU, but to crossfire.

I edited it into this because the APU you put originally has worse CPU power than a 5800K. MInecraft is CPU dependant (mostly) so I put in the 5800K and added a GPU for extra fps. I made some of the rest cheap too, but not the case and PSU.

Great build, very similar to mine. I chose CL9 speed RAM for a reason, though. And the APU I picked has nearly as good graphics power as an R7 240 but gives him the option of adding a more powerful GPU later on. :)

Hmm good idea, but I'll stick to the a10 because it can get 200 fps :)
