Solution
If you're considering between the 770 vs r9 280x, its 2gb vs 3gb. The 4gb shouldn't even be considered because you could get a stronger card for the same price.

But yes, kunthakenthe is right. The r9 280x is a better performance to price point in most cases and has an extra gb of vRAM. BF4 is better optimized for AMD, BF3 is better optimized for nVidia as far as I know. It's also depending on what you're into. If you don't care about physX, then the r9 280x would do just fine.

for those who are worried about the price
i don`t care about money
i am just wondering at the difference of the price
is it totally worth that difference ?
I mean that is there a large difference in as example `call of duty` or `battlefield`?

actually bf4 likes amd better. the r9 280x with its 3gb vram is more ' futureproof ' and will play at larger resolutions. the price difference between them is so big i recommend the r9 280x or the r9 290 if you can afford it.
