More about 8gb ddr3 ram 12gb
  1. That motherboard only runs dual-channel RAM. So 2x4GB will be faster than 3x4GB. Also, you'll never use more than 8GB in almost any tasks.

None. You won't see a difference between 8GB and 12GB.

Try it, should be a increase in overall performance in video editing, the DRAM should run in flex mode so you'll have 8GB running in dual channel and the odd 4 in single channel mode, the extra 4GB should help out in the video even at single channel mode
