pc shutsdown with no error new graphics card and psu

I bought the corsair rm1000 so that i can use it with my amd r9 280x and 212 evo fan but my pc shuts down after a few hours weither i am gaming or not if I turn it back on graphics card fan spins but doesn't turn anything else on, neither does the graphics card light up anyone know the problem it sounds like the pc turns on but it doesn't actually start

Is everything in your PC plugged in correctly and RAM secured into place and what is your full set up??

Yes it is all fully set up and I even played for about 4 or 5 hours before it closed

Have you monitored your heat on your GPU? Sometimes PC's shut off because of heat and then won't start until everything has cooled off.

It started up this morning it is still running fine everything is low in the 30s (Celsius) except when gaming GPU is 40-50 but that is normal. This morning it would not work so i opened up and turned a switch at the bottom which lit a red light and it worked but the switch was always off at the bottom and open on top. i turned both on and i think so far so good. If it crashes again i'll let you know
