No, you can just overclock it a bit, and they're almost the same.

It actually depends on which r9 270... Some have 1024 stream processors and some have 1280 (which is what the r9 270x has).

Performance wise though, it wouldn't really matter. they're both pretty decent cards still.

Overclocking it to the r9 270x speeds should give you roughly the same performance as the r9 270x. (repeating what alpha said).

You'll be fine. It just has a lower TDP, and uses less power. It probably won't achieve the same overclock as the r9 270x would, but it should be roughly the same as the r9 270x.

i dont like overclocking, but i guess it will only drop by few fps that i will not even notice im right ?

Probably not too noticeable. Overclocking isn't something to not like. It'll help later on probably. Never hurts though (as long as you're not just going to the highest number you see...)
