Amd overdrive overclocking

i have a r9 280x and i wan't to overclock it. Should i increase the frequency AND the powerlimit? Lets say i want to overclock it from 1020mhz to 1200 mhz. How much should i increase the powerlimit? And what should i do to keep the temperature down after overclocking?

You have the processor im thinking of bying. What gaming can it handle? DayZ at 60fps? bf4 at 60+ fps?

leeb2013, I agree with you. Besides that crashing issue, I also worry the bugs anyone might face, last time, installing CCC on AMD Radeon Premium Graphics caused a corrupted driver, black screen. Luckily I have a restore point. William Noberg, your graphics card is quite new, I don't think messing it will be a good idea either. Could you post your temperatures, playing game, and idling? Thank you

I just woke up, so im going to eat some frosties. And then i'll go straight to my pc, turn it on (the non sexual way), open up my gpu monitor, launch BF4 and check my Temps. I will also check the temperature while oc'd up to about 1200 Mhz.
