Hi. I just built my first pc. I'm using an internal network adapter, but it is way too slow for gaming (or even web browsing). Should I get a power line network adapter? Will it be faster? Is there anything I need to know about it before I buy one. Does anyone have any suggestions on any? Thanks in advance, and sorry for all of the questions!

Well, first off are you lagging out on lan gamming or internet gaming?
If it is lan gaming then I would look at a gigabit router. If it is internet gaming I would look at the ISP and see what my options are for a fast connection!

It is internet gaming. It is internet in general is very slow. It's not the service or router, because my macbook will connect to the wifi, and get great signal.

try this first if you haven't yet, when gaming, make sure that no one else is using the internet. close out any programs that might use the bandwidth of your internet (torrent, IDM, etc.).
