OK i currently have this system build:
CPU:AMD Athlon II X2 215
GPU:VTX Radeon 7770 1 GB GDDR5
RAM: One stick of 2 gb ddr2
One HDD
PSU:LC POWER 600 watt
Motherboard: ASUS M2N68-AM SE2 Which has AM2 Socket
One DVD Reader
2 case fans Thermaltake 120 mm

And i want to upgrade my cpu to AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2 Ghz Black Edition 125 watt and i think that the max wattage on my mobo is 95 watts on this website it says that it will work but that phenom uses 95 watts http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-ASUS/M2N68-AM_SE2.html it says that it will work but im not sure is that cpu 95 watt or 125 watt and from the asus website is not listed http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/list.aspx?SLanguage=... so tell me will that cpu work ? i will reward u with the best answer if u give me what i want :)

the m2n68-am series should run it But the thing I don't get is why does the se2 not? It says in the asus website: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M2N68AM/HelpDesk_CPU/ that it supports. You could go up with an M2N68AM-PLUS or just the M2N68-AM. And some advice, 2gigs and an athlon II x2 is a severe bottleneck to an hd 7770. Next step should be upgrading your ram to 4gb(max. ram your mobo supports) or Upgrade to an DDR2/3 combo board and go 8 gig (With the on 2gb stick you have, just buy another 2gb ddr2 stick amd 2 2gb ddr3 sticks.)
