New SSD- Can't re-load Windows

Hey folks. I've been scouring these threads in order to find an answer to my little problem. My hard drive died in my Samsung QX-411. No big deal, I'll just go to Best Buy and grab one and put Windows back on it... nbd... So my laptop wouldn't let me partition the SSD. I used a SATA cable and did it on my HTPC. I then made a boot image of the Windows 7 Home Premium install iso. When I go to install it it keeps telling me there are files missing. I'll delete, re-format, and make another boot image; I've re-downloaded the file. Nothing seems to work. Is there a trick of some sort to magic this thing into an operational machine? Or is there possibly a way to install it from my HTPC? (I tried copying the OS on the new drive but the HTPC is 32 bit, so I can't run the 64 bit install, and when I plug the drive into my laptop I get the blue screen of fun and excitement, followed very shortly thereafter by powering down). Any help would be hugely appreciated. I'm starting to lose it over this should-be-relatively-simple nonsense.
