I had a problem where both my hard disk and my external disk both had a logical partition, and i was trying to turn both of them into primary partitions because apparently mac doesn't read logical partitions, so after almost 10 hours of work i finally got the partition on my hard disk from logical to primary, but when i did the same to my external hard disk it deleted the partition and now on the disk management it says free space.
i tried everything but im not able to recover the partition table.
i'd rather recover the partition table instead of the files so that im able to mount the partition again because i have lots of large files and through the file recovery method it is really, really slow to recover massive amounts of 1 gb files.
any hints on how i'm able to fix this??
already tried 6 different programs and always reached a dead end.
