Hello today i bought a 1x8gb Ram for my computer. I had 2x2gb Ram but i thought i need something more powerful. I removed 2x2gb and placed the 8gb into one of the slots. I tried to boot up the pc but I got 2 options. One is to restore the pc and continue, and the other one is to start normaly. After getting that screen i pressed start normaly, but it got stuck on windows logo and then a blue screen saying that it isnt installed correctly or something like that, can't remember now. So i thought ok ill try the other option maybe it will fix it. Booted up the pc, pressed the fix button, then it started to load and boom again the same blue screen. Then i removed the 8gb and moved it to a different slot, and again the same two options, both not working. Im kinda depressed now because the price of the ram is kinda a lot in my country. Would be great if somebody could help me.

Your motherboard supports 8GB of DDR3 RAM maximum, this means it supports 4GB Maximum per slot... you are trying to use 8GB in a slot. Solution: You need to get 2 x 4 GB RAM modules.
