ive installed the realtek wireless LAN but i still cant connect to an available connection

what does the wireless symbol on the bottom left corner look like ?if its a red X check the pc to make sure wireless is on, if its a laptop you could turn in on with one of the F keys depending on the manufacture or check the laptop for a button

Attempt to put in the password by opening the Realtek shortcut it installed on your laptop and enter it that way to connect.

If the above doesn't work I was able to fix this issue by going to control panel - hardware and sound- devices and printers then right click onthe WLAN adapter under the hardware tab select properties then change settings go to the advance tab and make sure all propeties are enabled.
