what are the softwares to be installed for my new build

Please help me install softwares for my build step by step. i install it directly from online so that i can get directly updated to the latest. my config is

fx6300black edition,
asus r9280 dcuii , 4gbcorsair vengeance 1600mhz, m5r97 r2.0, 1tb seagate barracudda 7200rpm,

Update motherboard drivers from here: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/HelpDesk_Download/

Drivers you really need are: LAN, USB, AUDIO and chipset.
If you download AI SUite II, it has a updater for your drivers. If you download that first and use it then that is fine as well. It called EZ updater.

Get gpu drivers from here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Ninite is a good tool to install multiple of application you might need, such as java, a pdf reader, .Net and antivirus.

Get Malwarebytes as well. You can use the free version or pay the subscription either is fine.

The GPU drivers include AMD Catalyst. The ASUS GPU Tweak should be included in the AI Suite II. If not it should be downloaded by the EZ updater. Or you can manually get it from here:

What OS do you have?
For the sound card, you go to ASUS own product page. There is a link labelled "support" and it should take you to the place where you can download the drivers.

Yes powerDVD should work. Is it bundled with your blu ray drive?
Note you need the full version of Power DVD to keep using it which cost money.

No, it doens't include it in the asus xonar dx.
The full version online is 14 days trial until you pay, just to tell you.

Do you have a four-pin floppy connector?
Try connecting to it before installing the sound card.

A floppy 4 pin connector looks like this:

There is only one place to plug that cable onto the sound card. It only has 4 pins, it would be on the end of the card.

What power supply do you have?
Your psu should have at least two of these:

This cable is used to power your gpu. It can be used as a 8 pin or a 6 pin.
I believe your R9 280 has one slot for a 8 pin cable and another slot for a 6 pin cable.

There is only one place to connect the cable. Flip the card so the fans are facing downwards. The slots should be facing you.

please tell me if my sound card will burn to heat and there will be performance drop in hardware of sound card coz of the design of motherboard.
i have asus m5r97 r2.0 , graphics card r9 280 asus dcu ii top, asus xonar dx

my sound card(pcle1_2) is just right below the graphics card (pclex16_1) . when graphics card radiates heat from its two fan the heat directly flows on to back of my sound card which is situated less than 50 mm gap between these two cards.

Please tell me if this will create problem on my sound card due to the design of m5r97 r2.0 board?

Put the sound card in the slot furthest away from the graphic card.
