I have an Asus x550LD bought last June 2014. At idle (browsing) CPU normally range from 48-51celcius same with the GPU while HDD is 37-39. When in game (Dota 2) it usually goes up to CPU/GPU 65-69 and HDD is 41-44. I don't have air condition in my room but I do have a cooling fan, also I live in a tropical country. Processor is i5-4200 and GPU is NVIDIA 820M.

the temps are a tad warm but nothing to worry about as long as there under 70 for the cpu and 80 for the gpu.
you can try turning up the fans if it allows it, and you could try blowing compressed air into the vents and see if that reveals any dust bunnies. but other than that theres not much you can do for a lappy thats getting warm.

Cooling fans don't help to lower ambient air temperature. As we say here - "fans cool people, not rooms" :) In fact, a fan may (because of the electricity used for the motor) actually slightly heat up a room.

Cooling for a laptop is determined by the ambient air temperature. If, for instance, your room is at 30C, then the laptop can never be cooler than 30C, and then only when switched off. WHen it's running and generating heat, it will always have a higher temperature. As it's internal temperature increases, the efficiency of it's cooling increases, since the difference (gradient) of the "cool" air passing over the heat sink is lower than the temperature of the heat sink, making for more effective temperature transfer.

Also, the room and usage may determine how much and how fast dust and dirt accumulates ion the cooling ducts and thus how often you should clean it out.

Also one of my concern is that my friend has the same brand but the difference is that his asus runs in i7, NVidia 740m 8gig ram 1tb hdd which he says doesn't heat up like mine even when playing game. Also he mention that asus has this technology called icecool which keep the palm rest cool but I'm really not sure if this will make any difference. Just want to know if this kind of temperature is normal to tolerate for a 2 month old laptop or I should be worried that I need to call the tech to report this kind of issue? thanks to your answers.

Pull your battery when you run the laptop on AC. If you don't have a laptop cooler then elevate your laptop with plastic bottle caps.
A fan pointed at the laptop may help as will replacing your mechanical hard drive with a SSD. A SSD will use less power but will
run cooler. Personally I've found ASUS laptops to run a bit hot. Keep those vents clean of dust as well.
