The apogee is one of the better water blocks around though the idea of a pump / CPU block is not one I find partivularly attractive as pump failure means removing the block.
The new 220-X (pump / Block / Radiator) combo is attractice cause you get all in one kid and to my mind, renders everything Asetek makes obsolete. It's better than every 240/280mm AIO and any decent air cooler is better than every 120/140mm AIO
But if you are looking to not get a kit so you can get the "best" of each component, I don't think the pump / block combo let's you do that.

Combine the EK Supremacy (w/ included J2 plate) with an EK GPU Block gives you the best blocks for both on the market. Pick your radiator

And a pump and your on your way.
Another thing is the combination pump / block combo is ..... is access tot he stiff on your PC critical ? If it is, and you can't afford to wait 3 (sometimes longer) weeks for am RMA to be be processed, then a dual pump setup is recommended. I use a Swiftech 35x2 for that reason ..... advantages:
- if one pump fails, 2nd keeps you going until replacement arrives.
- provides more oomph for larger loops
- 2 pumps at low rpm is much, much quieter than 1 pump at higher rpm.
Might wanna go thru some of the threads here:
