Im planing on making a gaming destop it will definatly have 8 gigs of ram and a NVIDIA 740 2 gigabytes of graphics. Now the problem is the processor do i want a FX-6300 or a FX-8320... i will only be playing TF2, Minecraft, and some Garrys Mod. I will also run skype and 1 or 2 internet tabs. If possible plz rank these from best to least as to my only needs. FX-6300, FX-8320, or i5 4460. Thanks.

Do you already have an AM3+ or Socket 1150 Motherboard? If you have an AM3+ one, go with the 8320, if you got a 1150 one or another one you would need to replace, go with the i5.

GPU: That's what'll make sure the gaming experience is smooth.
All 3 of them can run the games you mentioned without a problem.
I'd say you might want to cut on a MoBo if you have 1150 socket and use that money by investing in a better GPU like GTX 750.
