Do you think that's 20nm GPU's will be released till June 2015? Do you think that's 20nm GPU's will be released till June 2015?
I saw Nvidia release gtx 800 series with 28nm,
Do you think that's AMD or Nvidia will release 20nm till June?
Does it worth to wait?
Thank you.

It's a tough topic, it's really clouded at this point in time.
People are saying, "It will be released 2015 with Maxwell"
And others are saying...(GIGABYTE!!), "September launch [assuming it's a 28nm]"
If Gigs rumours are true, then it would mean it MAY be September for 20nm or it could be 28nm for 8XX so it's highly speculative peroid for GPU's with an estimated 2014/15 release.
In all honesty, it's not happening with 8XX due to the 20nm processing problems TSCM [I think that's it] are having might be on the 9XX [Refurbished 8XX series] or the R9 3XX series.
So not likely, if in doubt get 2x780ti's when the price gouging happens after the 8XX release

Nor worth the wait. And depending on the sort of job you do, 2X780ti's are too high. Still, max-ies show really promising TDP. Still, not compelling a reason enough to wait an yearWell to be honest, Nvidia aren't exactly DetailsMcGee on their sneaky die shirks so I would not hold your breath for a 20nm. But they do look and sound sexy from the details (Speculative of course) that we are seeing. I mean 6/8gb cards and priced lower than their fathers card 780ti. I mean wait until they drop in price? and grab a good set or just wait until they release the 880 (8GB I think).

That's not a good reason enough for 2X780ti's. SLI usually doesn't improve double precision based calculations(Though Nvidia may fix with new updates) Barring that, why do we need 2 ti's? If he needs a workstation level graphics, then I believe R9 295X2 would provide a better performance at a cheaper price that W9100/8100 or K-6000. And well, opinions differ, but to me at least, a price cut is not compelling enough of a reason to get 2 ti's (Think how they are useless again)

Think how THEY aren't designed for workstations, for graphical properties.
Quadro or FirePro?
AMD FirePro W8000 Graphics or Quadro 4000?? Which is almost identical to the R9 295X in pricing but actuall runs FOR workstations? circa £1,000. Also check what type of Workstation. Graphical design or Video rendering?
Will he/she use it for gaming AND workstation work?

That is EXACTLY my point. We are not looking into workstation here(or are we? I dunno, he/she never said anything). And I am wondering why should one need so much horsepower as 2X780Ti's???
Oh! BTW, I didn't recommend a 295X2 for workstation. Sorry, my bad, I just forgot to give a "full stop" after a line
It was Like " 295X2 is>2X780Ti's. And if he/she needs EVEN MORE power, (that may arise from using graphic encoding and etc) Why are we even bothering with gaming models? Let's go to quadro or firepro"
I hope it's clear now, I'm sure it was just a communication problem.

I did hear a rumor that Nvidia Will release the GM204 GPUs on 28nm die this year. And possibly a refresh using the 20nm process. Nvidia Did state that they had to scrap the 20nm process that they had been working with and re-engineer the GM204 architecture on a 28nm process. That may be big reason why the Maxwell GPU are going to be delayed. Another rumor, and sorry I cannot seem to find the reviews, was that Nvidia may skip the 20nm process all together. And use 16nm or 14nm I forget. Do not quote me but i will try and find a video.

But you started jumping the gun, he/she may just want a lot of power? maybe he/she runs 4k? You need to widen your view? I mean sure you can just wait a year. Hell he/she could just buy two 680s and be pretty good then just sell them when the 880ti comes out? or just get a single 780ti? Hmm?
