On my case, I have 2 120mm fan slots in the front of the case, 2 120mm fan slots ontop of the case, and 1 120mm fan slot at the back of the case. Should I fill in all of the slots? Or should I buy 2 or 3 fans. If so where do you recommend positioning them? Also which orientation do the fans need to be in? Which fans need to suck air in or blow air out?

Hello.Best solution would be two in the front as intake, and the other three in the back and the top as exhaust.I have Nanoxia Deep Silence 4,and I have one fan in the front as intake, one in the top and one on the back of the case as exhaust.

So I should place the top fan back to front to exhaust the air?

What case do you have?
What parts will go in it?

My preference would be to start with two 120mm intake fans in front. Preferably behind washable filters.
That gives you a positive pressure airflow which will keep your case cleaner.

Two 120mm fans are enough to keep a strong cpu and graphics card supplied with sufficient cooling air.

If you think that is not enough after trying it, it is easy to add fans later to the top or rear.
I would avoid the added expense and attendant noise if I could.
