As the title says, I have USB 2.0 motherboard and I want to buy a SanDisk extreme 3.0 flash drive. Will this drive give fine speed on reading/writing? I never used these flashes before :)

It'll run at USB 2.0 speeds. You'll only get the higher USB 3.0 speeds on a USB 3.0 port.

The speeds are limited to USB 2.0 speeds like ex-bubblehead says. Allso the memory used in the USB Flash drive is the limiting factor. Fast memory = fast tranfer speeds. SanDisk is supposed to be a fine company so it will be faster than some NoName USB2, but so would BigBrand expensive USB2 vs NoName USB2.
