Is the GTX 770 better for video editing than the R9 290?

Some time ago, I saw a guy recommending a 770 over the 290 because of CUDA and OpenCL.Does that make sense?I'd show it to you guys, but I can't seem to dig it up.

Undoubtedly the R9 290 is the better option to go with. It's a much better card overall and with aftermarket cooling solutions it's gonna be way better.
