Hi guys,
I'm about to pull the trigger on a EVGA GTX770 SC:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130921

Before I commit I just wanted to check:
1- does my MOBO have the right PCI slots to not bottleneck the card (my biggest concern)
2- will my rosewill crank out enough power for this upgrade
3- should I buy something else instead? (didn't want to go over 300 USD but got lured into the 770)
4- also, I'm at work right now so I'm not sure it will fit into my case (if anyone has the same case)

Here's what I got now:
Cooler Master HAF 912 Mid Tower Case
ASUS P8Z68-V LX
i5-3570k
Cooler Master Hyper 212+
GTX 560 TI Superclocked 1gb
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1600MHz 16GB (4 x 4GB)
Samsung EVO 840 250g <---OS and games
WD Blue 250gb (7200 RPM, SATA III, 16 MB Cache) <--- random crap
WD Caviar Black 1tb (7200 RPM, SATA III, 64 MB Cache)<---dedicated fraps drive
Rosewill Capstone 650w modular (2 years old this month)
cd/dvd rw drive
razor naga
usb keyboard
wireless usb headset
3 case fans

Solution
PCIe 1.1 -> 3.0 is generally compatible. Might require a BIOS update, but that is unusual.

Power supply is of decent size to run a single video card.

Worst case scenario you would have to remove the internal drive cage to fit a longer card. Probably be fine.

I see what you're doing there and I think it's really cute but I'm sure you can understand that inexperienced buyers often rely on the reassurance of those more knowledgeable.

I don't have the box for my mobo box anymore but from what I can tell it was made before a new PCI format was released. I have struggled to understand how important the new PCI is in terms of performance. Power supply calculators say I need 750w psu but I have read multiple places that 650w runs a gtx770 no problem.
